About Us

Our Story

A Journey of Hope and Faith

My name is Edithe, and I am a mother of four amazing children, three of whom have learning disabilities. Our journey as a family has been filled with trials, but also incredible moments of hope, faith, and growth. While the road has not always been easy, it has shaped who I am today and led me to a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by families like mine. Read more

What People Say

Edithe at Dare to Hope has been a life line and life saver to me. She has consistently helped me to navigate the complex world of special needs. She has signposted me severally to various services and physically attended occasions when I have needed an advocate.

Phyllis Taylor-Minlah

The CEO and founder of Dare to Hope is a phenomenal woman who through faith, strength, courage, and above all LOVE, has raised three beautiful children on the autism spectrum. I first heard about Edith when my daughter was newly diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Her story empowered me, gave me hope and courage to go through the early years of accepting and dealing with the diagnosis of my daughter. Dare to Hope has been doing amazing work raising awareness on ASD and empowering families in the UK, in Cameroon and around the world. Through Dare to Hope, Edith will continue to touch many lives! A great cause to support. After all, don’t we all need to dare to hope?
