🚆 Travelling with the Hidden Disability Sunflower Badge 🌻

We are traveling with our children, wearing the hidden disability sunflower badge. This small symbol signals that we might need a bit of extra patience and support during our journey, even if our needs aren’t immediately visible. Thank you to everyone for your kindness and understanding—it makes a big difference in helping us travel comfortably and confidently!

International Women’s Day 2024: Inspiring Inclusion

I was invited to RCCG Living Water Parish on the 8th March 2024 to testify about my life’s experiences.”

“An event that fostered inspiring inclusion.” An opportunity to share about the strength and hope received from the Lord Jesus regarding my children.

Facing difficulties as women,, we are called to “Arise like Deborah, Emerge like Hannah and Shine like Esther”

The presence of challenges does not mean that God is absent. I also share about the journey of my children and how they have been able to integrate the community.

Kelly, my daughter who was diagnosed with Autism and speech delay started talking at the age of 8. She used that opportunity to showcase how far she has come with her speech by singing one of her favourite song.

We are thanking RCCG Living water parish for inviting us.

“Inspiring Inclusion”

Christmas in Bandjoun with the children from APATASACAM

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible support and generosity during the recent fundraising campaign for children with autism.

Your commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of these children has not gone unnoticed. Thanks to your efforts, we were able to raise money to support programs and initiatives by APATASACAM that directly benefit children with autism, providing them with essential resources and opportunities.

Your compassion and dedication to this cause are truly inspiring. The impact of your contribution extends far beyond the funds raised; you have helped create a brighter future for these children and their families.

Once again, thank you for being a crucial part of this meaningful initiative. Your support has made a real difference, and we are grateful for individuals like you who share our commitment to making the world a better place for all.

International Autism Fair

In December 2022, with the collaboration of AVAC (Association Vie Autisme Cameroun), we organised an autism fair in Douala/Cameroon. It was a guide to many families, friends and professionals with many information and consultations available for the public free of charge . Many other associations, 17 in total coming from abroad, Africa and Europe were able to participate and acquire a stand to showcase their activities.

A member of the National Assembly in Cameroon was also present with many other officials. A press conference and radio and television interviews were done prior to that great occasion.

Through the roof

A Life transforming testimony which took place on 02/4/2023 as a member of Christian Missionary Fellowship International in London. Edithe was able to share the story of her life from depression to Hope. How she met the Lord Jesus Christ and how the Hope received from Jesus transformed her life. She was able to share and call others to come and journey with her and Jesus through Hope.

Edithe and her Children who were diagnosed with Autism in 2004, are now adults and are full of potential.

Supporting Associations

We have offered online courses to teachers, carers and parents of AVAC in Cameroon and were able to host a get-together session for parents, children and educational personnel about how to best help the children. we were also able to offer a means of transport fo the association to access families in remote places. We believe this will empower the association to work more more effectively.
